Located at 163 N Sangamon St, Chicago, IL 60607, Koi Noodles operates as a chinese restaurant serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bar, event venue, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (312) 775-2916. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, koinoodleschicago.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 312 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Chicago and suggests consistent service.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The noodles didn’t quite stand out for me - the broth felt a bit watered down, and the noodles had a fairly standard texture and not especially chewy. The sesame noodles were the highlight though with a refreshing contrast to the rest of the meal. Overall, I found myself wishing for a bit more depth and character in the flavors and toppings.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked right past this place, usually heading straight for the pizza joint next door. But I was finally in the mood for noodles, decided to step inside, and man was I in for a fantastic surprise! First off, they have an excellent happy hour, and their menu offers a really interesting, delicious twist on traditional Chinese food. If you are a fan of edamame, you will absolutely love their garlic edamame. They really know how to handle their garlic hereβ€”it comes literally dripping in an amazing garlic sauce. A few absolute must-orders from the menu: The Bulgogi Short Rib: You have to try this. They give you a incredibly generous amount of meat, and it is so tender it falls right off the bone. Yin Yang Sesame Noodles: This was my ultimate favorite dish of the night. The flavors are absolutely spot on. Wonton Soup & Pork Belly: My second go-to is their comforting wonton soup packed with delicious pork wontons. Do yourself a favor and add a side of their pork belly to the order you’ll thank me later! To top it all off, they serve up some seriously cute and creative cocktails, alongside plenty of different flavors of soju if you want to keep it classi

There are many great noodle places in Chicago, but this is my personal favorite one! I live in Wisconsin, but am in Chicago many times throughout the year and visit Koi Noodles whenever I am able to. I always try to visit different restaurants as well when I'm in the area, but always find myself coming back to Koi. The location is great: plenty of street parking available and a quick walk from public transit. The service is spectacular: knowledgeable and prompt, yet patient and accommodating with our questions and requests. The last time we went, our server turned a very minor mistake of theirs (that we honestly wouldn't have even noticed if they didn't address it) into something that benefitted everyone at my table and we were really impressed by that. The menu is great: my partner is pretty easy-to-please and loves all of the dishes he's tried so far, and I appreciate the selection of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options! Personally, I often struggle at noodle shops because they'll often have 0-1 truly veg-friendly menu options, and it's often some wild combination of ingredients that I feel awkward requesting modifications for. So I greatly appreciate Koi's adaptability to m

Koi Noodles hits the mark with a cool vibe, excellent prices, and massive, fresh portions. The service was prompt, friendly, and provided great recommendations. The Highlights: * Starters: Crispy chicken wings (all drummettes! πŸŽ‰) and pork wontons with two killer dipping sauces. * Mains: The Sichuan Beef Lanzhou Noodles were perfectly balanced with great texture, while the Seafood Curry Udon was rich and steaming hot. * Drinks & Dessert: The Lychee Beachy drink was delicious, and the mango sorbet was a fresh finish. Everything was hot, flavorful, and high-quality. They also have great specials and happy hour. We’ll definitely be back!
